Paint Creek Group Ride 2/29/04
Fourteen Highland and Clinton County residents celebrated "Leap Day" with a group
ride at Paint Creek State Park, Bainbridge, OH.
Sunday afternoon was warm and sunny, for February, making the trails at Paint Creek
State Park mostly dry! Riders, whose abilities ranged from novice to expert, took advantage of the beautiful weekend and had
an adventurous mtn. bike ride.
In the spirit of a true group ride, we periodically stopped and waited for each other to catch up and "recover." We also
stopped a few times to work on riding techniques through various technical sections of the trails, such as some creek crossings
and steep hills. Overall, we had a great ride and just enjoyed each other's company.
